Vending Machines OKC | Picking a Company
This podcast 26 from Kane k vending, providing vending machines, Okc, and today I just wanted to talk about the, just kind of theK and k vending difference and what we tried to do with our business and um, you know, why we think we’re successful. We’re maybe other vending machine companies are not successful. Our philosophies and um, and just our overall outlook of, of business. Vending Machines OKC, you know, when you, when you google that vending machine, Okc list and you know, you’re looking around, you know, I think one thing a lot of people think is vending machine companies, they’re all the same. I mean, hey, you just kind to put her machine out for some snacks and drinks and uh, you know, people will buy it, but you know, there’s a lot of stuff that goes on that you, maybe you don’t think about behind the scenes.
First off, you may be, you know, how are they going to service that? Are they just going to kind of do it when they feel like it or they going to have a set routine? Pretty much at gain k vending, we’re going to have a set routine where you can, you almost know when we’re going to be there to, you know, within a few hours. And we come, uh, if it’s just a typical location, we usually come once a week that, that seems to work pretty well when the mission we get there, the machine is still full, but it’s time to surface. Um, and so our goal is when the machine is to not let the machine get, get, um, you know, very empty. We don’t like empty selections. We feel like the, you know, that we want to keep the machine to full, keep the selections full and if you come back and you know, there’s only about three fourths of the machine is empty, you know, for those day or two that, that, that goes by between, you know, Vending Machines OKC until somebody services that then that’s not very good for those customers.
And so we try to keep those that from happening. If we come back and one selection is empty, we marked down that we want to take more next time. We can also check that on our, Vending Machines OKC, our decks data that we get from the credit card readers inside the machine, which is kind of a cool deal that’s come up in the last several years with our credit card readers. We can remotely monitor not only whether the machine’s working, but also, uh, you know, how much product is in it and if they’re, if it’s getting low, we can, we can find that and we know that we’ve got to get out and service side. But also, um, you know, we, we kind of do the old fashioned way to where we will mark down that we need to take more. And so if people really liked this Doritos Nachos, then we will bring more next time and, and, and usually we can find that, um, you know, the happy median, you know, especially with things like Doritos Nachos.
You don’t want to put too many in because they have dates at last a month or so. And so if nobody’s buying them, you don’t want to put a whole lot in. But if nobody’s buying you probably also want to take them out. Um, and so that’s one thing we also monitor is, you know, is, is anybody buying and if they’re not, you know, we take those out, put something else in and see what, see what sells. And so, Vending Machines OKC, you know, and it’s amazing. Um, when we’ve gotten to this business, you know, that there are certain things that will just sell like crazy and you’re like, man, you know, these are gonna sell forever like this, and then after a while people kind of get tired of him in that certain location and they don’t sell it. Maybe they’ll stop selling and you’ll sell any. Um, and so, you know, usually we’ll take those out and kind of kind of mark that, you know, those were good sellers for awhile that they’ve slowed down, we’ll take them out, bring something new, that new stuff will sell for awhile and then they’ll slow down and then we’ll bring that first product back and then they’ll start selling again.
So it’s kind of things like that that we look at. We’re constantly monitoring, you know, what people, like, what people want, what’s selling and try to think of new things that we can put in there that people would, people would like to have. And so we know it’s all about variety and changing and Vending Machines OKC, you know, if you just keep the same stuff in there, then it’s not gonna go very well. Especially on the snack side. I’m on the drink side. I’m usually, people kind of are more of a routine of exactly what drinks they want, but we still try to manage that and if something’s not selling very well, especially on our glass front machines that we have in our full service breakthrough program, um, you know, if there’s a certain selection there, we will, we will try to change that out and get something else.
And so, um, you know, looking at vending machines. Okay, see, uh, you know, there’s a lot of companies out there and not all of them take, you know, think about all the things that go into a snack and drink machine. Are they making their customers happy? They just throw some stuff in a, collect their money. And are on their way, you know, we are trying to build a longterm relationship. Vending Machines OKC, you know, we’re, we’re not worried about making, you know, quick, quick buck. We want to build a longterm relationship, keep people happy and you know, we feel like that’s just the way you do business and we’re not looking into to, uh, take advantage of anybody by, you know, throwing stuff in there that they don’t want. Raising the prices, a, anything like that. And so we will go the extra mile to kind of make you happy, you know, for the most part, you know, every once in a while people say, you know, they didn’t get their products, we all, we will refund that money, no questions asked and we just really try to treat people right.
And it served us well. We’ve got a lot of locations we’ve had for a long time and it keeps people happy. Uh, and, and so, you know, looking at vending machines. Okay, see, you know, think about the company that there’s, there’s a lot that goes into the machine. There’s more than just throwing products in there. And, uh, you know, you see him every once in awhile. What happens if it breaks? Vending Machines OKC, are they going to leave it there and sit there for a month while nobody can get anything or are they going to get on and get it fixed in a day or two? A lot of times we’ll, we’ll fix ours in the same day. We usually are out there the same day and probably 90 percent of the time we get it going. Um, sometimes, you know, parts have to be ordered, those kinds of things.
They are machines, they’re gonna break occasionally, but we try to keep up on that. Um, and so definitely, um, you know, that’s important. How are they going to service it? Are they going to fix the machines when they win? If something goes wrong, um, you know, maybe something’s going wrong and you’re trying to get ahold of them. Are they going to answer? Are they going to call back? If you have to leave a message, you know, we’ll get back with you as soon as we can and probably you have something going on. We’ll be out there probably within an hour or two, um, and, and getting a ticket care of. And so that’s definitely something to think about when you’re looking at vending machines. Okay. And, uh, and uh, and I think it’s important that you have a local family owned business. I mean, we’re, we’re, um, we are not so big that, that people, um, you know, we’ve, we’ve just got people that come work for us for a few months and then they’re on their way.
Um, you know, you’re going to see people who are going to be there for the long haul, the long haul. Um, you’ll see pretty much the same person every time. And Vending Machines OKC, and, and, and I think that’s important. People get to know somebody. You can talk to them, you know, how to, you know, you know, uh, exactly how they operate and, you know, that’s just, I think that’s an important part of having a locally owned, a small business. I’m not only does it help, you know, the local person learning, it’s instead of maybe one that has, you know, operations in three, four or five states, encounter regional company. Um, you know, it’s going gonna help, one that is local and I think stuff like that is important to a lot of people, you know, getting, you know, friendly face every time I’m knowing who it is, knowing when they’re going to be there and knowing that they’re going to take care of stuff as quick as I can.
Um, you know, that’s what we provide at k and k bending. And so if you’re kinda tired of, you know, not knowing what’s going to happen, maybe they come in are always raising your prices, you know, it’s a different guy every two months and you know, one guy was okay, the other guy’s terrible, you know, who knows what’s going to happen the next time somebody comes out. And so, you know, that’s not, that’s not how we operate a gang k vending. And so definitely look at us, you know, looking at vending machines, Okc, you know, check us out. We’re going to offer a lot of great things from lowest price guaranteed credit card readers to um, to know contracts my hurt or have a business the other day. That was, you know, they currently do not have vending, um, and they, they had had a little cafe deli in their, um, in their location, but then that went out, but they don’t really know what they want to do and they don’t want to go with any company because I don’t want to sign a contract. Well, we’re not going to make you sign a contract because we think we’re going to do a great job build that relationship.
