Vending Machines OKC | Regular Drink Machines
This podcast 27 from k and k vending bringing vending machines, Okc, and they had just kinda like to talk about some of the various machines that we use, uh, what the brands and some of the uh, um, a technology that we use on our machines. Um, that has really changed things in the last, oh, I would say, uh, you know, 15, 20 years, things have really changed from kind of the old old style to the new style is kind of the way I look at it. And um, as, as you get into, you can kind of tell the older machines from the newer machines and um, you know, whether they’ve been updated or not. Uh, we are. Most of our machines, Vending Machines OKC almost all of our machines now are kind of the newer technology, um, that can handle a lot of different things. The main thing that you have to have is a, what they call the MDB, um, which has to do with your coin to mechanism and your bill validators.
Things that takes the dollar bills, $5 bills, and then your coin, your change in the dispenses it out. If you to make change, um, if you have that, then generally you can also put a credit card reader on there and so must almost all the machines that we buy now. Um, when we first got started we bought some of the older machines. Didn’t worry too much about that. Um, but now we only buy machines at our credit card accessible because we put credit cards on all our machines. That’s just a part of doing business we feel like today. And so, uh, if, if you, you know, get a, get a machine, we make sure we can put a credit card on it. And we like, uh, Vending Machines OKC, we kind of use them all. Um, we use probably the big machines, big names if you’re into vending machine, that’s pretty exciting.
Topic is dixie narco. We use a lot of Dixie narchos, just regular drink machines. There’s a dixie narco five, a one. There’s a lot of different variations of some of the newer ones. Probably the new, the newer ones are [inaudible]. And then there’s some others that, you know, can a candle credit cards in that we look at. Um, and then there’s some newer ones, probably the big one dixie narco makes is the Bev Max and that is a glass front machine and it’s the one that has the little cup that goes up and down, grab your drink and it brings it over to where it dispenses and we’ll put that in where you’re full service break room if you go with that, if you have a larger office. Vending Machines OKC so, uh, you know, those, those types of machines are pretty good. Uh, vindo is another one we use, although I’m not a big fan of vindo.
Vending Machines OKC, we do have a few of those that’s kind of Dixie narco and vindo are probably the two biggest, um, people that make drink machines. And then also royal, Vending Machines OKC, I have just a few royals but I like them so I’ll probably get more in the future. Um, and those are nice machines also. And so, you know, most of those, if you just have a regular drink machine, the old, you know, everybody I think is familiar with that is you’re probably gonna have about eight to 10 selections and I’m usually, and another thing that has changed over the last several years is a lot of times you can only do cans were now the newer machines. You can do both cans and bottles. I’m old style machines. You can do, can do bottles if you try, they won’t fit through the shoot and you can’t dispense some amount or they’ll get stuck up in the, the mechanisms that turn and to spend some.
And so, uh, you know, that’s one thing we always look at when we’re looking to get machine equipment. Um, you know, kennedy bottles came key candidate do you know, larger energy drink, 16 ounces energy drinks. And so we will always look at that. And so definitely if you’re looking at vending machines, okay, see, you know, make sure that they’ve got, you know, updated machines. It doesn’t have to be brand new. I, Vending Machines OKC, I think, uh, you know, vending machine, as long as it looks, it looks good. Um, is, you know, we, we, when we get our machines in and we make sure it goes through and inspect them, Vending Machines OKC, we don’t, we buy some new, um, most of ours probably are used and we’d go through and we check them all out. We make sure everything looks good. If there’s maybe something that’s not looking real good, we’ll take care of it.
And, um, uh, we’ve, we refurbish a lot of our own, our own machines and make them look good. So when they get out on, on location, you know, you’re going to be, Vending Machines OKC, it’d be happy with the way they look. You don’t want just some nasty looking thing with a lot of rust or something on there obviously, but, um, you know, that doesn’t, I don’t think most people can tell a huge difference between a brand new machine and one that’s just, that’s a few years old, but it’s been taken care of and, and, and made to look better, made to look good. Um, and so, uh, we, we, that’s one way we can keep our prices low is by getting machines and refurbishing them and you know, we do that with drink machines. Um, another dream machine we use, there’s a big manufacturer called a wittering, um, and they make some drink machines that we liked or kind of a smaller type one that was what that attaches to a snack machine.
And so it’s kind of a, it could be a combo and we’ll use those and then we have several of those out and they work pretty good. It kind of smaller type offices. Vending Machines OKC so, you know, definitely, you know, vending machines. Okay. See, uh, providers will know, you know, kind of all of this, and this is probably way more than most people want to know. But um, I think it’s important that, you know, when you, when you’re looking at a vending company that they are looking at, you know, kind of the latest technology mainly, you know, especially to be able to put credit card readers on their machines on the snack side. Um, there’s a lot of neat things that have come out that you can do with snack machines in a, mainly has to do with the guarantee delivery system and they have that on the drink machines to.
We generally don’t have that big of a problem with the drinks not dispensing. Um, and so it’s not quite as important over there, but it is becoming standard on the most and we are, we are definitely working to get that on all of our, our, uh, drink machines. But it’s really important I think on a snack machine. We’ve, we’ve really taken care of a lot of problems and I think customers are really happy when we put the guarantee delivery system and basically there’ll be a laser down at the bottom of the snack machine and it will sense whether one has dropped. If it has not, then it will keep spinning that spindle. Um, and so or that spiral. Vending Machines OKC, and one thing we can do, you don’t have to necessarily buy just a brand new machine. One thing they’ve come out with a is there’s a couple of different people that do this as they, you can put a whole new board on a used machine, one is from Ivan and one is from a vendor’s exchange and basically it’s a whole new board, whole new system and it will.
And with that you can put that on the bottom of the snack machine and it and it just attach it to one that didn’t previously have it. You can, you can add it. And so we’ve, we’ve used those and they’ve worked great. It’s like having a brand new machine, um, once you, once you get it going and so, you know, bring them in and refurbish them, but this whole new boards and stuff and make them sparkle and put them out and people, you know, people love them. Um, and it, uh, it kind of takes care of a lot of the issues that people have with a snack machine. Vending Machines OKC so, you know, we’ve used a lot of different types of snack machines, automatic products, ap machines. We have several of those. We have national. That’s another kind of big brand. Also crane, I just called crane also, um, is a, is another company that we use, um, a lot of what we’ve got to have some winter in or also they call it usi machines and wittering is kind of a generic, is a name that a lot of people will use their machines and put their name on it.
Um, and so we use a lot of theirs. Um, and um, we, we really have had a lot of success with those, those types of machines. Vending Machines OKC so definitely if you’re looking at vending machines, okay, see, you know, make sure, you know, in the snack machine, you know, ask, make sure that you can put the guaranteed delivery system. Um, I think you’ll really like it and it’ll, it’ll solve a lot of the problems that you will be, will have with your snacks and you know, also be able to put credit card readers on there. And, and so, you know, those were probably the big brands that we use and the technology that, that we look at. I would, I would think if you’re looking to vending machines, okay, see that, you know, make sure they can put the credit card readers and the delivery system.
Um, and those are, those are huge, that really takes care of a lot of problems and people just expect to be able to pay with the car today. Um, and remember a k and k vending, we never charged processing fees for any of our, um, our credit card transactions. And so that’s big. We don’t want, we don’t ever require a contract and we all always offered the lowest price guarantee. So, um, give us a call. We’ve got pantry service which basically will deliver snacks to you or we could do a micro market where you can pay with a phone on your APP. And so that’s probably another wave of the future.
